WHAT DOES IT COST?
Running costs are difficult to answer because of different variables such as: How old the property is, does it have double glazing, cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, floor insulation and other factors.
The best way to put a cost to it is to follow the example below:
- Cost of Nano heating film of 1.0 m length by ½ m width, 100W/h (0.1Kw/h) power = £30.00 per linear meter (mainly used for underfloor heating systems) – cost per one (1) M², 200W power = £60.00
- Cost of Nano heating film of 1.0 m length by ½ m width, 200W/h (0.2Kw/h) power = £35.00 per linear meter (mainly used for wall/ceiling heating systems) – cost per one (1) M², 400W power = £70.00
- Running costs: Cost of electricity in UK according to the cheapest electricity supplied is 9p per 1Kw per hour, which equals the cost per 5 m² of Nanofolio installed underfloor. For example 1 linear meter of Nanofolio used is 100W of power per hour which running cost would be equal to 0.09p which is less than 1p per hour. Isn’t this cost effective way of heating?
